Nuclear
Medicine of Naples was established in 1994 in its current
location at 671 Goodlette Road North, in Naples FL. We have
recently added a second office location at 1713 SW Health
Parkway to better serve the communities of North Naples and
Bonita Springs.
Our patients care is our most important objective, so we ensure
they are comfortable in our "home like" waiting
room with comfortable leather sofas and chairs plus a full
supply of snacks, refreshments, gourmet coffee, and reading
material.
Our
office hours are from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. We will do our utmost
to accommodate both the physicians and patients schedules.
Hours can be extended if necessary and requested in advance.
Our equipment includes a Dual-Head State-Of-The-Art Gamma
Camera. This is the second such system to be installed in
the United States 3 years ago. This camera results in reduced
patient scan time (a 10 minute scan here can take up to 20-30
minutes at other facilities), improved image quality and more
accurate interpretations.
Our images help generate the highest quality studies available
in the country. One local family physician who visited our
facility noted, "These images are so clear in comparison
to what I've been getting from other places! Too often, studies
done elsewhere are being called 'equivocal'. That doesn't
help me to diagnose and treat my patients."
We
are also very proud to announce our recent International accreditation
of our
Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory by the ICANL. We were one of
the first in the United
States, Canada and Puerto Rico to receive this honor for our
high quality images and reports resulting in excellence in
patient care.
Our patients are our best advertisement and many times we
have heard statements like "This was the best testing
experience I've ever had" or "I never thought I
would actually enjoy having a test done".
Many
patients think they don't have a choice in the facility in
which their tests are being performed, but you do. If your
doctors prescribe a nuclear medicine test for you, request
being sent to Nuclear Medicine of Naples. You won't regret
it.
